Spring seems to be a popular time for brunch.

Mother’s Day is a big day for brunches – coming up this weekend!  Wedding and baby season has most definitely begun, meaning lots of brunches for showers and celebrations. And then there are the brunches for no specific reason other than to get together with family and friends.

Those drinks and eats look amazing! The sesame crusted crab and mango tea sandwiches especially look good. My siblings and I were planning to do a brunch for Mom, but now we’re going to shake things up and do dinner instead. I’m dying to try out a recipe for Baked Mushroom Risotto with Caramelized Onions…mmm…

I love that flower arrangement, tulips are my favorite. I am a big fan of frittata’s for brunch, easy to make and pack full of veggies. Good warm or cold too.

I love baked egg dishes for brunches! I had a strata at one (with sausage, I believe) a while back and have been wanting to recreate it. I think we’re going out for Mother’s Day brunch this year, though, so I guess I’ll have to wait til next time for that one. :)

So hungry for brunch! Loving all these ideas. My parents are coming in this weekend so I’ll get to spend Mother’s Day with my mom on the actual day this year. :)

I saw those baked eggs and want to make them! They are so cute. My mom is coming to visit in June (yay!) but I’m sending some various nuts and trail mix from TJs :)
