What kind of esspresso maker do you have? My husband and I traveled to Italy last year, and it totally ruined us on coffee. We’re such coffee snobs now and nothing tastes ‘just right.’ We’ve been looking for a machine that might reproduce a similar style as the coffee we drank in Italy.

We have a Nespresso Pixie. I really like the espresso, but I’ve never had espresso in Italy so I’m not sure how it compares…

No way is Jersey Shorsical a real thing. I’m sitting here like an idiot laughing alone at my desk just imagining what that could be!

Not the champagne vinaigrette that I mentioned above, but I do on a very regular basis.

Cleaning and packing like crazy (moving in 2 weeks), making anything I can think just to use my Vitamix and enjoying lots of new wines.

Do you have the nespresso from C&B / like it? We debated registering for it and ended up not as we make ours on the stove, but I’m still thinking about buying it one of these days..
p.s. have a fun weekend with your visitors!! :)

Yes, we have the Pixie! We did register for it, it was like the one splurge/not necessary item but it is so fun!

I haven’t been to the beach in awhile. I’m over due and a campfire sounds lovely. Mostly, I’m been trying to pack as much as possible since we move in 2 weeks!

I made my friend go on that hike when I was in LA! I think she hated me a little for it. :) There are no mountains in Chicago, though, I needed to take advantage of the climb!

Definitely! I always made sure to get in a hike while visiting. In fact, I still am normally huffing it up the hills – Minnesota was flat!

A campfire on the beach sounds great. I live rigth up the hill from a beach campsite – love the smell at night!

Oh my goodness, all these sound amazing! I am particularly in love with the idea of ‘Champagne Vinaigrette.’ And also insanely jealous that you’re enjoying campfires already…I have to wait another couple months up here in Wisconsin.

I also went through a downloading fonts craze. I printed my own wedding invitations and programs, and it was so fun to use pretty fonts!

Love this list – beach campfires sound amazing.

I’m listening to Lisa Loeb’s kid’s CD and the Hunger Games soundtrack, depending on if I’m in the car alone or with kids. I’m eating the carrot miso dip recipe from Let Them Eat Vegan daily. I’m avoiding cleaning out my pictures on the computer and camera. :)

Jersey Shoresical? Those two words alone just made my weekend.

The campfire looks like fun! Enjoy the visitors this weekend. Lately I’ve been reading Gone with the Wind (and loving it so far), drinking copious amounts of tea (though that espresso sounds amazing) and far too much leftover chocolate from Easter. :)
