seven simple ways to feel good

{I’m experimenting with some sponsored posts…email me ( if you have strong feelings about it, I’d love to hear your thoughts.}

I think I’m a pretty upbeat person. I’m usually in a good mood, and though some people probably find it annoying, I just really don’t have much to complain about. Life is good.

But we all have our moments.

Sometimes I wish it was Friday and it is Monday. Sometimes I need a little something special just because. Sometimes I’ve had a rough afternoon at work or an argument with a loved one.

And sometimes we just need a little help to feel good. I’m sharing my list with you – some are sweets, some are calorie free. Some require money, others don’t!

I’d love to know what you do to make yourself feel good…especially the calorie-free and money-free ideas! Head over to the Arrowhead Sparkling Mountain Spring Water facebook page for some more “feel good” inspiration!

    I have three to add … Buy yourself flowers! Peruse the Farmer’s Market! And take a bubble bath (something I NEVER do … as in I’ve probably done it <10 times in my adult life … but it's super relaxing and feels indulgent!)

    I am not sure I could let go of my laptop (or tablet) for more than an hour! It’s worth a shot. I actually followed up n the health benefits on other sites before posting. The world wide web agrees with you. Megan’s additions are great too!

    This was a great list! I agree with you, there are days that just seem so long and you don’t feel like doing anything.

    My favourite way to just relax and feel good is to take a bubble bath, read a good book, and just watch some TV.

    Sometimes I even turn my phone off for a bit to get some peace and quiet.

    However, turning my phone off is not always feasible, but nice for a half hour or so.

    I love this, Emily! I was just on vacation and blew through FIVE books while I was there–I forgot how much I absolutely love reading, so I’m making myself a promise to do it more often now that I’m back.

    I like the idea of having lunch outside. Most of the time I’m working while eating lunch. It helps when I can eat lunch outside and actually enjoy my lunch and the break from work.

  6. says

    I like the idea of an impromptu happy hour. :-)

    Getting off the computer is a good thing as well… we tend to rely on too much technology in our lives.
