St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and you probably have your festivities planned. They might include corned beef. They probably include green beer, or at least a guinness. Hopefully they include some live Irish music, with corned beef AND green beer.

I’m not yet sure what Saturday will bring for me, but we celebrated a little early with some reubens the other night. Homemade reubens (sometimes even made with tofu) are a favorite of mine. Here are some great recipes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with!

I think I’m finally going to try your creamed kale for St Patty’s Day…not inherently Irish, but it’s green…can’t go wrong!

Love the Irish Food Pyramid. :-) Great round up of recipes. I love Reuben Sandwiches–that’s what we’ll be having on the 17th.

There will definitely be some green beers for me this weekend! (Or maybe just Guinness) I’ll probably pick up some cabbage at the store tonight, too. I may not be Irish, but I can always use an excuse to be festive.

I’m not Irish, but my husband has red hair (and is) so it is kind of a mandatory celebration in our house. :) Green beer in Chicago is kind of mandatory too, right?

My grandma always made corned beef and cabbage, but I must say, I really don’t have any St. Patty’s Day food traditions! This year I will be headed to Orlando on SPD for a conference! Which I was able to go to the Food Blogger’s Forum that day too while I was there!

I’m actually going into NYC to celebrate my birthday with girlfriends and we’ll be drinking too much wine, but no Irish food. I think I maybe having a Irish meal on Sunday with Mom…we shall see. Happy “almost” Friday!

St. Patrick’s day will be celebrated with some green (spinach infused) overnight oats! And maybe some green tea.. Perhaps paired with some other green foods. St. Patty’s Day for me will equal a complete green food madness! Now where can I find some green beer? :)

Soda bread scones sound so good! I’m not a corned beef and cabbage or a Guiness lover…so I mostly just try to eat something naturally green.

Thanks for sharing the great recipes! We are celebrating this year by watching the big St. Patrick’s day parade in our town! Happy St. Patrick’s day! :)

I hope you had a great St. Patrick’s Day yesterday! I love this recipe roundup–especially the Guinness Caramel Sauce…yum! And the eating pyramid is too funny! :)

I celebrated yesterday by indulging in a Shamrock Shake. Naughty naughty, I know, but I’d never had one, and needed to find out what all of the fuss was about. :-D

    Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!
