Yesterday I celebrated my 29th birthday. I still kind of feel like I’m 23.

(23rd birthday)

I still don’t really know what I should do with my life.

But if I’ve learned anything over the years,

it’s that you should take advantage of the opportunities you have.

You should always appreciate family.

And be sure to love your friends.

Just because you may not know what to do with your life, or have the perfect career now,

doesn’t mean it isn’t coming.

Work hard, play lots and love your life.

Oh, and pick up some anti-wrinkle cream – you are already getting a late start.

(29th birthday)

Have any life advice for me? :)

Happy Birthday! You look great! I’m turning 27 this year and feel the same way about my career. But I have also come to greatly appreciate the life I have now! A quote I love: ” Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life’s about creating yourself.” -George Bernard Shaw-

29 was good, but 30′s are so much better! While I don’t know exactly what I want and will be doing I enjoy figuring it out.

Just go with it, there is no set plan and sometimes change is good!

Happy birthday! I’ll be 29 this year also. I can’t believe it. You better believe I’m already wearing eye cream daily.

Life keeps getting better and better as I get older. My only advice is to remember to enjoy the ride.

Happy belated birthday! One of my favorite mantras: “Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.” It’s all about a healthy work/life balance. Work to feel useful; live for yourself. Cheers!

    Happy Belated Birthday!!

Love the anti-wrinkle cream note! A few months ago I asked my dermatologist if it was too early (I’m 27) and she said, well, you’re actually a bit late! lol. Opps!

I’d say in addition to loving you family and friends, tell and/or show them how much you love them :)

You are way ahead of me! I haven’t even been to a dermatologist and I JUST started with the anti-wrinkle creams/lotions.

    happy belated birthday!

i had to laugh at the anti-wrinkle cream comment! when i was 23 i went to an arbonne party and was convinced that it was never too early to start w/ the anti-aging stuff. so i’ve been a devoted anti-aging skin care user for almost 3 years already! haha!

I am only 20 so I don’t know about “life advice”… but I have learned that no matter how horrible a situation is, it will change, it will get better. Everything always turns out O.K.

Happy belated birthday! Love your advice. I’ve been using anti-wrinkle cream on my face and my eyes since I was in my early 20′s. I guess I always looked at how my sisters aged and wanted to start early! People tell me I look like I am in my mid-20′s, so I guess it’s working (I’m 32).

My advice would be to listen to your gut. I have done that since my early 20′s and it has helped me tremendously. You always know when a job, relationship, etc. doesn’t feel right.

Pile on the SPF 45 every day and find a good self-tanner :)

Looks like everyone’s covered the other (more important) stuff. Happy Birthday!

don’t worry about not knowing what you want to do – just be. i’m here at 35 and i keep learning that life isn’t about planning and fulfilling goals. it’s about acceptance and gratitude.

I was just thinking about that today in yoga! That I need to “just be” fine with where I’m at right now! My new mantra. :)

Happy belated birthday! I sort of still feel like I’m 21, so at least you’ve matured more than I have. And the wrinkle cream? Let’s just not talk about it. ;)

Happy (belated) Birthday! You look fantastic! I don’t have any big words of wisdom; but I find a grateful heart to be a wonderful coping mechanism. We have so many blessings and stopping to consider them usually stops my whining/complaining in a heart beat.

Aw, I love this post! Happy (belated) birthday to you – I was nodding my head with everything you wrote. My favorite line was, “Just because you may not know what to do with your life, or have the perfect career now, doesn’t mean it isn’t coming.” Needed to hear that tonight! You are wise beyond your years. :)
